Hunker Down?

Coming up from Vancouver? Coming all the way from Lund?! We are all about hunkering down for the weekend which is why we have teamed up with the most comfy and most interesting accommodations in town.

The Old Couthouse Inn and the Rodmay Heritage Hotel want to make this the most comfy, quirky vacation/stay-cation possible so they’re putting it all on the table, making it a sure thing, with 10% discounts at the Old Courthouse and rooms starting at $50 (!!!) at the Rodmay Heritage Hotel!

My god. Book while the bookin’s good! With the plethora of artists and performers alone we’re sure to sell out. In case you’re not getting us… Now is not a time for humming and hawing. Head on down to the Old Courthouse Inn (10% OFF Rooms!) or the Rodmay Heritage Hotel (Rooms starting at $50!)

We just wouldn’t be us if we were anywhere else. You know? The community of Powell River shapes the exhibition each year with quirky, inspired artistic contributions. That’s what happens when you have a community made up of so many characters. We’ve got neo-hippies, actual hippies, punk rockers, poets, painters, back-to-the-landers, academics, draft-dodgers, academic drafter-dodgers, loggers, fisher-people, environmentalists, activists and environmental activists. There’s no end to the fascinating people living at the top on the Sunshine Coast.

For four of our five years, we’ve called the historic district of Townsite home and we are thrilled to be back in the brick. Townsite is home to many of the establishments and people that make the PowTown so great. The Patricia TheatreTownsite Brewing, the Old Courthouse Inn and the Rodmay Heritage Hotel, to name a few. And one more historic Townsite gem is about to re-open after a near 2 year super-makeover… But we’ll leave that another day.

Nudge nudge, wink wink.
